I think that the person to blame for their deaths is on the citzen of the poker flat. My reason is becuase if they didn't tell them that they had to leave, then they still what have been alived. and not dead. It was there fault for the whole thing. becuase like I said in the beginning if they didn't tell them to go. then they would have still been alive. and not dead, becuase in the ending of the story. they found them too there, hugging like embracing each other. and then the guys went and killed himself becuase he saw them. and just gave.

I thought that Desiree baby was a good story and a sad story, because when her husband said that she had to leave because she was black, it was really sad. And like after she left he was getting rid of everything that remind him of her and the things she touched. but then he found a letter, and really Armand was the one that was black, not her. At that moment he was really shocked. he couldn't believe that he was black and not her. He thought that she was black. He knew if anyone found out about him being black. He wouldn't be rich anymore, they would take everything he had and give it to some other rich guy. Or just throw it away. So really he was the one that was black. not her. So if the story was gonna go on. I think that she would have told someone, this way he could get out of her house. and so he would never come back ever again.

The blind man, was about this guy who was blind. He would sell pencils on the street but nobody would buy them, they would just ignore him. And he was walking on the side walk and this lady notice him from her window, she felt sorry for him. But she didn't even tell him to get out of the sun and go to the shade. Everybody wouldn't even help the man out. Even little kids were trying to steal his pencils. And the cops went to go get him, and found out he was blind, so they let him go. and then he heard people running to the streets. he was wondering were all those people were coming from.But they were there all long, they were just ignoring him. He found out that some rich guy got hit from two cars, and everyone gathered around him. they would help a rich guy that wasn't looking, but they don't help a blind guy that can't even see.

The Story Of An Hour

This story was about a girl, who was married with this guy that like to control her around, and would make her do stuff. But then she found out that her husband was dead, and she couldn't believe it. she was really sad but at the same time happy because now she was free, and she was happy that she was getting freedom for the first time in her life. But then she heard a knock on her door. So she got up to go get the door and when she opened the door, it was her husband, she really couldn't believe that. She was so happy that she just fell on the floor. because she was dead. She died of over joy.

Dr.Heidegger's Experiment

What i seen in this experiment was that it went,all wrong and everything was a total, total disaster. Especially because all the readers were not thinking what might happen next. We all should have know it was gonna happen because they were both fighting over her, because she looked all young and everybody liked her and wanted to go out with her. But you have to know that you can never go back being young, because that's not how it works. A lot of people want to be young again. but we can't and they can't. And I think the people in the story that were fighting over the girl now knows that, no matter what u do, u can't go back being young. And were all gonna have to just deal with it.

Armand was shocked he didn't think this could be true. Before he burns the letter he reads it over again, to make sure that what he's reading is not true. So he went to the kitchen to make a phone call,he wanted to call Desiree. So the phone rang and rang, and finally she picked up the phone."Hello....who is this?" Desiree said. "Its me Desiree. Its Armand. Look, I just want to apologize to you,and I want you to come back home,to me." " I'm sorry Armand,but I just can't go back home to you, you hurt me. And now you want me back?" "Yes. I do really want you back. I care about you." Armand lied. "Well---Fine. I'll come back. But if you do that again, I'm going to leave again."

Desiree came back with the baby, they arrived late at night. Armand was waiting in the center of the living room."have a seat Desiree. We need to talk about some things. I'm sorry that I made you leave. That was never nice of me to say to you. I was being a jerk. And I don't want you to leave me again.okay." " Okay,Armand,I forgive you. But I'm am gonna go rest now. I'm very tired. Good night." So Desiree went up stairs and into the bedroom. When she put her stuff on the bed. There was a letter. She read the whole thing, and she was in total shock." you lied to me Armand!!, I I'm leaving, you said I was black. But when really your the ones whose black. Why didn't you show me this letter"

BOOM!!!. Desiree got shot in the head, by Armand who had the gun behind his back. And is secret, is still a secret.

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you smarter, would you do it, especially if you knew the side effects of the surgery would only be temporary? why or why not? use the examples from the story.

If I was given a choice to have an operation that would make me smarter I would not do it because if I wanted to be smarter, then I'm going to have to work for it. If I did get the surgery then it would be weird because then I would know everything that I didn't before way to fast, and it would be confusing probably. And another reason on why i wouldn't do is because the surgery would only be temporary, and if I knew that I wouldn't want to do it because it would just be a waste of time. I would not want to die early, just so I can be smarter, to me that's not right. If you want to be smarter then your gonna have to work for it like other people would do.

Explain what this story says about each of these issues:-Family-age-beauty. Use examples from the story to support your explanation for each.

Family- I think the story says a lot about family. I think there just trying to tell us. That no matter how one of our family members look like, we should always respect them and love them, because they have feeling just like us. And we have to have trust in each other, because if you don't trust one of you family members, then your relationship between them won't go so good. and I think trust has to do with a lot in the story.

Age- I think age has to do a lot with the story, because people care on how they look. People don't want to get old at all, they want to look younger. But in the story everyone cares on the age they are, But I think that it doesn't matter how old you are. People have to love you for who you are and not judge you by your own age. And I think age is like the most important thing in the story because this story is really about age, because first Benjamin gets older and then he gets younger. So Age is the most important thing in the story, in my opinion.

Beauty- I also think that beauty was the most important thing in the story, because when Roger, Benjamin dad saw his son for the first time, he was really shock he didn't think that was his son he thought it was some kind of joke. Roger didn't want to be seen with a old guy, he didn't want people staring at his son because they were probably going to make comments about his son saying that he was ugly. But people need to respect other people feeling.

After reading chapter 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter and giving your solution for each.

One of my problems is, I think that Benjamin will start getting over his wife because he is always getting younger and his wife is always getting older and she really doesn't like it. And like his wife could just go cheat on him with someone else and he wouldn't even know about it. So I think he should just leave his wife, because its not going to work out.

My second problem is like when he starts getting smaller, he gonna forget how to talk and he won't understand what people are saying. And I don't think that his wife would be happy, like I said she gonna be mad at him because he getting younger and she getting older. And that not the only problem when Benjamin starts getting younger, his wife won't be able to talk to him.

My third problem is when he starts getting younger he gonna forget everything that he has learned and he not going to remember anyone, not even his wife , and I think that going to be hard for her because her husband is forgetting about her little by little and its hard for her. And like I said he going to forget everything he has learned, it's like he learned for nothing, because he starting forget things little by little.

Roger is so overly concerned with how Benjamin looks and is worried about what people are going to say. What should he do?

I think Roger should just accept his son for who he is. He shouldn't be worrying about what other people are going to say. Roger has to have the attiude of not carrying about what people would say.Roger shouldn't fight with his son. Roger should be nice to him. Just becuase his son is differet doesn't mean he could just be mean to him,becuase it's not fair to his son, that only knew him for a couple of hours and already he fighting with his son and giving his son attiude. If roger is really worried about what people say, he has to deal with it becuase Roger shouldn't be listening to other peoples comments. That his son and he has to accept the way his son dress. It doesn't matter what people say. So there's really nothing he can do but love his son.

What would you have done if you were in Roger button shoes in, chapter 1?


If I was in Roger Button sheos, I would be so confuse becuase i woouldn't belive that this is my child. It just wouldn't be real to me. I would have probably started screaming in the hospital, yelling at the nurse saying that this isn't real, and saying that this is so not funny. But I would go to down-town and buy him so clothes, for him to wear. If I were roger I would not know what to do,at all. It would just be so shocking to think thats my child. But I think if I was roger I would try to get to know him instead of ignoring him, becuase I wouldn't want to be mean. It would just take some getting use to, that all.

Graduation

Soon it will be time to say goodbye to all the friends we have made.
We won’t be hearing them calling our names in the hallways.
We will never have the same teachers, that we had at middle school.
We won’t be hearing the same laughs as we did in middle school.
When then last day come, we all try not to cry.
We’ll take pictures, so we’ll always have memories with us.
When we get the diplomas from the principal, we look at the audience,
Once we get those diplomas, tears start to falling on our faces.
When the principal say the class of 2009, we all throw our cap in the air.
We say goodbye to all our friends that we knew for such a long time.
But we all can’t help it, the tears just fall on our faces.
We give our friends a big hug
We say goodbye for the last time, but we don’t tell them “see you tomorrow”.
Once we walk out of the doors, were no longer 8th graders.
We say goodbye to our friends again, and then walk our separate ways.
We all didn’t want to leave middle school.
There was so much memories there.
But will always have them with us.
Forever.
